Observation on the Viseosity of-Blood Before and After the Dripping of Salvia Mul-tiorrhiza Solution in Coronary Heart Disease Patients
hemorheological charac- teristics including whole blood viscosity
plasma viscosity
haematocrit and erythrocyte electrophoretic time in their own plasma have been determined for 124 normals 24 coronary heart disease patients. The results show that the values of the whole blood viscosity
the plasma viscosity and the elec- trophoretic time in patient group are signi- ficant higher than normal
while haemato- crit between these two groups is no signi- ficant different. After intravenous infusion of Salvia miltiorrhiza preparation in great dose for above 24 patients
we discovered that their viscosity of whole blood and plasma decreased and electrophoresis of erythrocytes accelerated
besides
their clinical conditions were improved
too.Above results indicate that this preparation can make the blood viscosity decrease and surface charge of erythrocytes increase.
