内容比较丰富、编写质量较高的工具书。《简辞》所列词目

即中医常用的医学术语

它是祖国医学理论和经验的重要内容

也是学习和整理这份医学文化宝贵遗产

首先必须理

Abstract

The Dictionary

compiled by the Aca- demy of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Gua- ngzhou College of Traditional Chinese Me- dicine et al.

has been published recently.It embraces the subjects on fundamental theory

clinical aspects

materia medica

medical history and literature etc.There are altoge- ther 13

400 entries. The reviewer holds that the dictionary has many strong points as follows:（1）The making of great efforts to apply dialectical viewpoint in the explanation of the entries. （2）The adopting of new and original exp- Iations and the using of both traditional Chinese and western medicine materials to conform each other.（3）The explanations are objective

practical and realistic.（4） The layouts of the entries are arranged systema- tically according to the tradition of Chinese medicine. The reviewer

on the other hand

also points out that there exist some main defects.
