摘要

<正> 吸烟的害处是很多的

它不但能造成吸烟者许多疾病的发生

而且还能污染空气

危害别人。吸烟者吐出的停留在空气中的那股冷烟雾

被不吸烟者吸进的危害更大。特别是烟内含有致癌物质

能引起多种癌病。因此戒烟不但是个人问题

而且是解决社会公害问题

关系到祖国“四化”建设问题。这个问题已引起社会上的广泛重视

报纸、杂志大力宣传

吸烟的害处已为广大群众所认识。现在的问题

是

Abstract

When working in the medical team forforeign aids

the author applied body andauricular needling to 210 smokers for givingup smoking with satisfactory result.“Baihui”point was used and the needleretained for 15 minutes.The press needleswere embedded in“Shenmen”pointsof both auricles for one week.In casethere is an urge to smoke

gentle massagemight be given.The result revealed that 191cases（90.95%）gave up smoking after 1～3courses of treatment

while the rest smokedless frequently than before.The mechanismof stopping smoking by acupuncture needsfurther investigation.
