By endogenous colony forming units as-say in spleen of JGR strain

the extract ofPolyporus umbellatus（Pets.）Fr.（“757”）wasobserved to have a tendency of protecting thestem cells or stimulating effect on the mul-tiplication of these cells in mice on the 4thand 9th day after inoculated transplantableSarcoma

the extract was shown to enhance the cyto-toxicity action of splenic cell on tumor cellsin tumor-bearing mice on the 20th and 25thday after treatment.This results suggestthat“757”may improve the tumor specificimmunity of lymphoid cells in host.
