Clinical Verification for Parameter Apparatus of Abdominal Diagnosis in TCM,
300 cases of cold syndrome were examined by abdominal diagnostic apparatus with the following results: the decreased temperature of the Mu point was increased; the drastic lowering of temperature at Zhong-wan and Guanyuan points in cold syndrome were increased after treatment. Observation on 200 cases of abdominal flatulence revealed that
the amplitude of displacement of abdominal wall by external force in excessive type flatulence was increased after treatment; while that in deficient type
increased by moderate and heavy forces
was decreased after treatment. These demonstrated that abdominal diagnostic apparatus possesses rather satisfactory clinical significance in detecting the temperature and degree of flatulence.
