Ninety - two cases of apoplexy at convalescent stage were divided into 2 groups

one with 50 cases treated by acupuncturing by resuscitation method; the other

42 cases treated by traditional acupuncturing. The cured rates were 42. % and 16. 67 % respectively

while the rates of markedly effective and effecitve of the resuscitating group were also superior to the conventional group. The parameters on hemorrheology. blood lipid

microcirculation

and in vitro thrombosis of the resuscitation group were all improved

with its degrees and extents of improvement all superior to the other group.
