the relationship between TCM syndrome - typing of ulcerative colitis （UC） and platelet activation was studied. It was found that

for all types of UC

there existed the status of platelet activation with different degrees

especially prominent in the excess types of inner accumulation of damp - heat and Qi - stagnated blood - stasis. This is not only conducive to the elucidation of the nature of all syndrome types

but also of significance to the prescription and drug administration of such syndromes.
