Investigation on Relationship Between Diurnal - Nocturnal Rhythm of Blood Pressure and Yin -yang Syndrome Types in Hypertensive Patients
By using Holler monitor electrocardiography for monitoring the dynamic changes of blood pressure in 84 cases of hypertensives of both Yang-hyperactivity and Yin -hyperactivity types. Results showed that the blood pressure of the cases revealed a high diurnal and low nocturnal type and double -crest double -trough type. The Holter BP revealed its low trough at Zi (11: p. m. -1 : 00a. m.) and Wei (1: 00p. m. -3 : 00p. m.)
and the peak B. P. value appeared at Chen (7 : 00 a. m. - 9 : 00 a. m.) in the Yang hyperactivity patient
while for the Yin hyperactivity ones
at You (5: 00 p. m. - 7 : 00 p. m.). The mechanism of hypertension pathogenesis lies in the disharmony of Yin and Yang
resulting with boundless hyperactivity of Yang principle.
