The plasmal endothelin （ET） and atrial natriuretic polypetide （ANP） in 43 cases of chronic renal failure （CRF ） and 32 cases of normal subjects were determined by RIA. viz deficiency of both Qi and Yin

Qi -deficiency of Spleen - stomach

Yin - deficiency of liver - kidney

and deficiency of Yin and Yang

especially higher in the last type. After the treatment

the plasmal ET. ANP and Cr

β2 -Mg all decreased markedly （P<0. 01）

especially in the first 3 types.
