Clinical Observation on 30 Cases of Paralysis Agitans Treated by Acupuncture Plus Direct Moxibustion
Sixty cases of paralysis agitans were randomly divided into 2 groups
each 30 cases
and treated by acupuncture alone and acupuncture plus direct moxibustion respectively. Comparison of the markedly effective results between the two groups were significantly different statistically (P < 0. 05). Significant statistical differences were also found between the 2 groups in markedly effective and effective results (P<0. 01). It is thus claimed that acupuncturing plus direct moxibustion is a safe
simple
and effective measure for treatment of Porkinson’s disease.
