Study on Correlativity of TCM Syndrome Types of Acute Cerebral Hemorrhage with sICAM-1 and MDA Contents
Objective:To explore changes and significance of serum soluble intercellular adhesion moleculae(sICAM-1)and malondiadehyde (MDA)contents in patients of acute cerebral hemorrhage of different TCM syndromes. Methods:Serum sICAM-1 and MDA contents were determined respectively by double sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay(ELISA)and thiobarbituric acid (TBA)method in 80 cases of acute cerebral hemorrhage and 20 healthy persons. Results:Serum sICAM-1 and MDA contents increased significantly in the patient of acute cerebral hemorrhage
and increases of the two indexes in the group of apoplexy involving the Zang-and Fu-organs were significantly higher than those in the group of apoplexy involving channels and collaterals
and in the group of excess syndrome of apoplexy involving channels and collateral group were significantly higher than those in the group of deficiency syndrome of apoplexy involving channels and collaterals.Among the various group of involving channels and collaterals
the phlegm-heat and fu-organ excess group increased most obviously for the two indexes. Conclusion: Strengthening of leukocyte adherence and oxidative stress in acute cerebral hemorrhage are closely related with the increases of serum sICAM-1 and MDA
which are involved in pathological course of cerebral injury after cerebral hemorrhage.Differences of these two indexes are possibly one of intrinsic factors of different TCM syndromes of apoplexy. The peak time of the two indexes levels of acute cerebral hemorrhage is at 25~48h;and these two indexes can be used as reference indexes for assessing severity of ill condition.
