Study on the Evolutional Law of TCM Syndromes of Infantile Pneumonia
Objective:To study on the evolutionat law of TCM syndromes of infantile pneumonia. Methods:The patients enrolled were divided into wind-heat attacking the lung syndrome
accumulation of phlegm-heat in the lung syndrome
Yin-deficiency and lung- heat syndrome and lung and spleen Qi-defieiency syndrome.Clinical manifestations of the patients at the day of admission(basal point)
and 3rd
5th
7th
10th day after medication were observed and the TCM syndromes were determined. The evolutional law of TCM syndromes of infantile pneumonia at different observation points and different regions were systematically analyzed by probability of syndrome evolution. Results:Infantile pneumonia at initial stage was mainly wind-heat attacking the lung syndrome
accumulation of phlegm-heat in the lung syndi-ome;metaphase was a key stage transforming from excessive syndrome to deficiency syndrome;at late stage reinforcing and protecting Yin liquid should be paid great attention. At the initial stage there was no significant difference between the north and south region in distribution of syndrome type;at the late stage there was significant difference between the north and south region
Yin-deficiency and lung-heat syndrome was more frequently occured in the north
and lung and spleen Qi-deficiency syndrome was more frequently occured in the south. Conclusion:TCM syndromes of infantile pneumonia has different evolutional laws at different observation points and in different regions.
