Clinical Observation on Weitongning Capsules for Treatment of 60 Cases of Functional Dyspepsia
Objective:To probe into clinical therapeutic effect of Weitongning Capsules on functional dyspepsia and its effect on gastric emptying of the patient.Methods:110 cases of functional dyspepsia were randomly divided into 2 groups
the treatment group(n= 60)treated by oral administration of Weitongning Capsules and the control group(n=50)treated by oral Motilium. After treatment for 4 weeks
their therapeutic effects were observed and emptying indexes of gastric liquid were detected. Results:There was a significant difference between the two groups in therapeutic effect(P<0.05)
cumulative scores of symptoms before and after treatment(P<0.01)and the symptom relieving degree(P<0.05)
suggesting that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group. The half emptying time of gastric liquid in the treatment group after treatment improved significantly(P<0.01).Conclusion:Weitongning Capsules has a definite therapeutic effect on functional dyspepsia and it can significantly shorten the time of gastric emptying.
