Effects of Ruangan Yin on Cytokines and Ultrastructure of Hepatocytes in Immunol Hepatic Fibrosis Rats
Objective:To observe effects of Ruan Gan Yin on cytokines and ultrastructure of hepatocytes in the rat of immunol hepatic fibrosis. Methods:Immunol hepatic fibrosis model rats induced by human serum albumin were given small dose(1g/kg)
large dose(2g/kg) of Ruangan Yin by intragastrical perfusion for 8 consecutive weeks
with Biejia Ruangan Tablets and colchiichine used as positive control medicine. Changes of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)
interleukin-1(IL-1)
transforming growth factor β
1
(TGF-β
1
) contents and ultrastructure were investigated in the model rats. Results:Ruangan Yin could significantly decrease serum TNF-α
IL-1 and TGF-β

contents and protect ultrastructure of hepatocytes in model rats. Conclusion:Ruangan Yin exerts functions of anti-hepatic fibrosis possibly through restoring appearance of cell organs with secreting functions and decreasing contents of inflammatory cytokines.
