Effect of TCM Method for Regulating the Spleen and Protecting the Heart on Quality of Life of Patients Undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting
Objective:To evaluate effect of TCM method for regulating the spleen and protecting the heart on quality of life in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) patients. Methods:A randomized controlled trial was adopted and 106 CABG patients included 55 cases in test group and 51 cases in control group. The patients in control group received routine western medical therapy and the test group were treated with western medicinal therapy plus modified Huxin Fang.Quality of life of the patients were evaluated by SAQ.Results:After treatment of 3 months
the total score for symptoms in test group improved better than in control group(P<0.01).In improvement of somatic movement limitation
anginal frequency and treatment satisfactory for SAQ
test group was superior to control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion:Modified Huxin Fang can promote rehabilitation of the CABG patients
