Clinical Observation on Zhuang’er Granules in Treatment of 50 Children of Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infection
Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Zhuang’er Granules on infantile recurrent respiratory tract infection with syndrome of qi and Yin deficiency.Methods:Eighty-six children of recurrent respiratory tract infection with syndrome of both qi and Yin deficiency were randomly divided into two groups
a treatment group treated by Zhuang’er Granules and a control group by Kamanshu oral liquor. They were treated for one month and then followed up for 6 months.Recurrent times
clinical main symptoms
T cell subpopulation
immunoglobulins and complement-3(C

) were determined before and after treatment. Results:The total effective rate in the treatment group(90.0%) was significantly higher than 80.6% in the control group(P
<
0.05).After treatment
improvement of symptoms in the treatment group was better than in the control group(P
<
0.05).CD

significantly increased in both groups
with significant differences as compared with those before treatment(P
