Clinical Manifestation and Treatment of Acute Deficiency Syndrome in Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome
Objective To probe into the relationship between immune function at the early stage of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS) and acute deficiency syndrome
and to evaluate the immunoregulative effects of combined treatment of Chinese medicine and western medicine on MODS.Methods T-cell subgroup1/2(Th1/Th2) and the expression of human leukocyte antigen-DR(HLA-DR) on monocytes in 62 cases of acute deficiency syndrome of MODS were randomly determined by immunofluorescence technique.Effects of the combined Chinese medicine and western medicine
and the simple western medicine on the balance of immunity of acute deficiency syndrome were compared. Results In the patient of acute deficiency syndrome of MODS
the Th1/Th2 and HLA-DR in peripheral blood were significantly lower than the healthy controls(P<0.01).Compared with the western medicine group
the levels of Th1/Th2
HLA-DR and the 28-day survival rate were significantly higher in the group of combined treatment of Chinese medicine and western medicine(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the mortality. Conclusion The immunosuppression at the early stage of MODS is correlated with acute deficiency syndrome
and combined treatment of Chinese medicine and western medicine can improve immunosuppresion of the patient with acute deficiency syndrome.
