Objective To study the intervention of Shenbing Mixture combined with hormone for simple nephrotic syndrome in children.Methods Control group of 33 cases was treated by Prednisone

while Shenbing Mixture was added in treatment group of 68 cases.The therapeutic effect

hydrocortisone and immunologic index were observed.Results The treatment group was superior to control group in regression time of edema

negative conversion time of urine protein and persistent remission and relapse rates after 6-month and one-year treatment（P<0.05 or P<0.01）.The level of hydrocortisone

CD4 and CD3/CD4 in the treatment grouup increased obviously with no significant differences when compared with those of normal group（P>0.05）.Conclusion Shenbing Mixture can obviously improve sensitivity of hormone

relieve symptoms and reduce relapse for pediatric nephrosis

which is relevant to regulating immunity and recovering the function of adrenal cortex.
