Effect of Pingwei Powder on Part of Immunological Function in Rats with Syndrom of Dampness Blocking Spleen and Stomach
Objective To investigate the effect of Pingwei Powder on part of immunological function in rats with syndrom of dampness blocking spleen and stomach. Methods SD rats were randomly divided into control group
model group
treatment group and autonomous recovery group
10 rats in each. Establishing animal model of dampness blocking spleen and stomach. Such indexes as wet weight
organ quotient
pathological changes
content of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and IgG of spleen and thymus were tested. Results Organ Quotient of speen and thymus decreased
thickness of thymus cortex and diameter of lymph vagina in spleen’s centeral artery wear off
IL-6 increased and IgG obviously reduced. After treatment with Pingwei Powder
the patholgical changes recovered markedly
which was superior to that of autonomous recovery group. Conclusion Pingwei Powder can markedly impove part of immunological function in rats with syndrom of dampness blocking spleen and stomach.
