Analysis on Characteristics of the Complication of Metabolic Syndrome in Type Ⅱ Diabetes Patients
Objective To study the complication characteristics of metabolic syndrome(MS) in type Ⅱ diabetes patients.-Methods The 530 in-patients were collected dynamically by Structurization Hospitalization Information System
of them
265 cases of diabetics were complicated with MS and 265 cases not.The patients were divided into groups according to the course of disease. The general data were described with frequency in statistics and χ2 test was adopted in the study.-Results The occurrence of complications of diabetics with MS was earlier and in a high incidence. The carotid sclerosis occurred earlier than lower extremity arteriosclerosis.-Conclusion The combination of multiple risk factors is the main cause of earlier occurrence and high incidence of complications of diabetics with MS.The high incidence of carotid sclerosis in diabetics with MS pointes out the necessity and importance of clinical intervention in advance.
