Objective To observe the clinical effect of Tangbi Capsule（Capsule for Diabetes）on diabetic peripheral neuropathy（DPN）of qi deficiency with blood stasis syndrome.Methods Totally 11 cases of diabetics of qi deficiency with blood stasis syndrome were randomized into 3 groups:the herb group（50 cases）

was given Tangbi Capsule;the western drug group（29 cases）

given Methycobal and Aspirin;and the herb plus western drug group（32 cases）

given Tangbi Capsule

Methycobal and Aspirin.The treatment course was 8 weeks.The clinical symptoms

signs and nerve conduction velocity was compared before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of herb group

western drug group and herb plus western drug group was 88.0%

58.6%

and 84.4% respectively.The difference of three groups was statistically significant（P<0.01）.Conclusion Tangbi Capsule is able to obviously improve the clinical symptoms of diabetics of qi deficiency with blood stasis syndrome and their abnormal sense of pain

and improve nerve conduction velocity as well.
