Effect of Moxibustion at Zhiyin (BL 67) to Correct the Fetus Malposition:Multi-center Randomized Controlled Clinical Study
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of moxibustion at Zhiyin(BL 67)for correcting the fetus malposition. Methods The 296 cases were randomized into two groups. The experimental group(147 cases)was treated by moxibustion with moxa stick at Zhiyin(BL 67)of both sides. The control group(149 cases)was treated by knee-chest position.Seven days constituted one course. Results In the experimental group
115 cases were remarkably effective
8 cases effective
and 24 cases ineffective. In the control group
72 cases were remarkably effective
3 cases effective
and 74 cases ineffective.In comparison
the difference be- tween the two groups was significant(P<0.01)
the effect of the experimental group was obviously better than that of the control group. To compare the results of three research centers
there was no significant difference(P>0. 05).Conclusion Moxibustion at Zhiyin(BL 67)for correcting the fetus maloosition is reliable in effect.
