Research on the Relationship between Tropomyosin and TCM Syndromes of Terminal Gastric Cancer
Objective To study the expression of tropomyosin(TM) in different TCM syndromes of terminal gastric cancer to explore the relationship between TM and the TCM syndromes. Methods The 41 cases of terminal gastric cancer with spleen and stomach deficiency-cold syndrome and stomach heat damaging yin syndrome and the 15 cases of chronic superficial gastritis(control group) were selected. The expression and quantity of TM gene(TM1、TM2、TM3、TM4) were tested by immunohistochemistry and ELISA respectively. Results The expression of TM1 in the spleen and stomach deficiency-cold syndrome was higher significantly than that in the stomach heat damaging yin syndrome
and the expression of TM2 was lower significantly than that in the stomach heat damaging yin syndrome
and there was no significantly difference in the expression of TM3 and TM4 between the two syndromes(P>0.05).Conclusion The expression of TM in different TCM syndromes of gastric carcinoma was different. There exists a certain relation in the expression of TM1 and TM2 in different TCM syndromes of gastric cancer.
