Effect of Stuck-needling Contracting-lifting Technique on Myodynamia of Hemiplegia Patients due to Ischemic Apoplexy
Objective To observe the effect of stuck-needling contracting-lifting technique on myodynamia of hemiplegia patients due to ischemic apoplexy. Methods The 92 patients were randomized into a treatment group of 50 cases and a control group of 42 cases. The treatment group was treated with the stuck-needling contracting-lifting technique while the control group with electro-acupuncture.Points used for both groups were Binao(LI 14)
Shousanli(LI 10)
Huantiao(GB 30) and Fenglong(ST 40)
and 4 courses of treatment was given in total. The general efficacy of both groups was observed and assessment of ability of daily life(ADL) was used for scoring. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 94.0% and 85.7% respectively
the difference was significant(P<0.05).The ADL scores of both groups was significantly increased after treatment
and the treatment group was superior to the control group with a significant difference(P<0.01).Conclusion The stuck-needling contracting-lifting technique is effective for myodynamia of hemiplegia patients due to ischemic apoplexy.
