Reliability,Validity and Reactivity of WHOQOL-BREF in the Aged Pneumonia Patients
validity and reactivity of the WHOQOL-BREF in the application in the aged pneumonia patients. Methods There were 627 participants from the pneumology department of four provincial hospitals admitted from May 2007 to October 2008 involved in the questionnaire survey. The Cronbach’α coefficient
Guttman Split-half coefficient were calculated to reflect the reliability
the content validity and construct validity were used to evaluate the validity
and the comparison of the averaged score before and after treatment was applied to measure the reactivity of the scale. Results The Cronbach’α coefficient of WHOQOL-BREF was 0.90
the Guttman split-half coefficient was 0.86
and the Cronbach’α coefficient of physiology
psychology
social relation
and environment was 0.74
0.72
0.72
and 0.87 respectively. The absolute value of correlation coefficient of the scale in all fields and its items was within 0.57~0.86. The four common factors were screened according to the eigenvalues. The factor loading of the common factors and its items was good. The validity size of the four fields was moderate
and the total score was great effect. Conclusion The WHOQOL-BREF is good in reliability
validity and reactivity in the application in the aged pneumonia.
