Relation between the TCM Syndromes of Children Nephrotic Syndrome and the Renal Pathological Types:410 Cases Study
Objective To explore the relation between the TCM syndromes of children nephrotic syndrome and the renal pathological types. Methods The enrolled 410 children of nephrotic syndrome were diagnosed with TCM syndrome differentiation 24 hours before needle biopsy of kidney to analyze the distribution of different TCM syndrome types in different renal pathological types. Results Those patients with the lung and spleen qi deficiency
spleen deficiency and damp retention
spleen and kidney yang deficiency
and liver and kidney yin deficiency were mainly involved in the minimal changed nephrotic syndrome(MCNS)and mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis(MsPGN)in the light microscope pathologic types
while those with both qi and yin deficiency were commonly involved in MCNS and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis(FSGS).The distribution of different TCM syndromes in renal pathological types was statistically different(P<0.01).The immunopathology of all patients was mostly in the type of non immune complex
all above 50%
and the type of IgA+M+G+C3 was the least. The distribution of different TCM syndromes in kidney tissue immunofluorescence types was not statistically different(P>0.05).Conclusion The different TCM syndromes of children nephrotic syndrome are different in the light microscope renal pathological types
but without significant difference in the immunopathological types.
