Clinical Analysis on the Clotting Indices of Malignant Tumor Patients and the Correlation between These Indices and Blood Stasis Syndromes
Objective To explore the distribution characteristics of clotting indices in the different tumors and different stages of tumors and the correlation between these indices and blood stasis syndromes of TCM. Methods Through the retrospective survey
the clinical data of patients with clear diagnosis of lung
stomach
large intestine
and mammary cancers were collected
and the clotting indices in the different tumors and different stages of tumors and the correlation between these indices and blood stasis syndromes of TCM were analyzed. Results Altogether the data of qualified 351 cases were collected
of which
343 were with clotting abnormalities
accounted for 97.72%. Compared with those of early stage
the increase of fibrinogen (FIB) of advanced lung and stomach cancers was significant (P<0.05). Compared with those of the large intestine
mammary
and stomach cancers
the increase of FIB of lung cancer was more significant
mainly in the Ⅲ degree (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with those of early stage
the increase of D-dimer (D-D) of advanced lung cancer was significant (P<0.05). In the comparison of advanced cancers
the increase of D-D of lung cancer was significant
mainly in the Ⅲ degree
compared with the mammary and stomach cancers (P<0.01). Compared with those of early stage
the rate of blood stasis in the advanced mammary cancer was increased and the grade of blood stasis syndrome was significantly higher (P<0.05). Compared with the advanced large intestine and stomach cancers
the grade of blood stasis syndrome of lung and mammary cancers was significantly higher (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that there existed the correlation between the blood stasis syndrome and the increased FIB and fibrinogen degradation products (FDP) (P<0.05). Conclusion Malignant tumor patients generally have clotting abnormalities and most of them are accompanied with blood stasis syndrome of TCM. And the more advanced the lung cancer is
the more heavier clotting state is
and the more serious the blood stasis is. There exists the correlation between the blood stasis syndrome and clotting indices FIB and FDP increase.
