Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Huazhuo Jiedu Formula （Formula for dissolving turbidity and removing toxic substances） on the precancerosis of chronic atrophic gastritis with the syndrome of accumulation of turbidity and toxicity.Methods Totally 229selected patients were randomized into treatment group

119cases

and control group

110 cases.The treatment group was administered Huazhuo Jiedu Formula

one dose per day

and the control group was prescribed Weifuchun Tablets （Tablets for gastric diseases with the function to strengthen the spleen

reinforce qi circulation

activate blood circulation

and remove toxin）

4tablets each time

3times a day

oral taking before meals.Three months as one course

two courses in all.Therapeutic effect

changes of hemoglobin

blood rheology

and the changes in gastroscopy of both groups were observed.Results The total effect of the treatment group and the control group was 90.76% and 65.45% respectively

the difference was significant （P<0.05）.The treatment group was superior to the control group in gastroscope improvement

and hemoglobin changes

and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant （P<0.05）.In both groups

the indices of blood rheology were all improved

and the comparison of before and after treatment showed statistical difference （P<0.05）.Conclusion Huazhuo Jiedu Formula could improve anemia to promote the repair of gastric mucosa

and the therapeutic effect is definite.
