Antithrombotic Treatment with Naoxintong Capsule for the Patients Underg oing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention:A Clinical Research on 27 Cases
Objective To investigate the antithrombotic effect of Naoxintong Caps ule(Capsule for cerebro-coronary vascular diseases) on the patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods Fifty-four coronary heart di sease patients
who had accepted revascularization by PCI successfully
were randomized into treatment group and control group
27 in each.Bot h groups were medicated with conventional postoperative antithrombotic treatment
while the treatment group was additionally administered Naoxintong Capsule
4 ca psules each time
3 times a day
for 1 month in succession. The scores of qi deficiency syndrome and blood stasis syndrome before treatment and 10 days after treatment
and on the short-term and long-term antithrombotic effect were observed
simultaneously
the safety of antithrombotic treatme nt of Naoxintong Capsule was evaluated. Results Compared w ith before treatment
in the treatment group the score of qi deficiency syndrome 10 d ays after treatment was significantly decreased(P<0.01)
while in the cont rol g roup it was significantly increased(P<0.01).In both groups
the score of blood stasis syndrome
the maximum platelet aggregation(MPA) rate
the plasma heredi tary false hemophilia vonwillibrand factor(vWF)
and the fibrinogen(Fg) were reduced significantly 10 days after treatment(P< 0.01)
but the reduction in the treatment group was more significant(P<0.05).In the duration of one-month follow-up after PCI
3 cases in the control group had a major adverse cardiovascular event(MACE)
none of the cases in the treatment group had MACE
a nd the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant in co mparison(P>0.05).In the medication period
there were no major and second ary hemorrhagic complications in both groups. Conclusion In the patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome
combination of c onventional antithrombotic treatment and Naoxintong Capsule may decrease the sco res of qi deficiency syndrome and blood stasis syndrome 10 days after PCI
inhib it the activity of blood platelet
alleviate the damage of endothelial cells
an d improve the coagulation function. With the administration
there is a reducing tendency for the occurrence of cardiovascular events
and without the decrease of platelets and bleeding complications.
