Objective To observe the clinical effect of Qimu Shen ghua Decoction on uterine involution after caesarean section.Methods Tot ally 390 puerperas were r andomized into the observation group（192 cases） and control group（198 cases）.Qimu She nghua Decoction and Chanfukang Granules were given to the puerperas in the obser vation group and control group respectively after caesarean section.The height of uterine fundus was measured

there was significant difference between two groups in the sum of three d iameters and cases of uterine cavity fluidify at 42nd day after caesaren section（P<0.05）.The cases of well involution of uterus was 173（90.10%） and 154（77.7 8%） in the observation group and control group respectively

the difference betw een was statistically significant（P<0.05）.Conclusion Qimu Shenghua Decoction could effectively promote uterine involution after cae sarean section.
