Objective To observe the effect of Qingbai Powder on the exp ression of collagen-Ⅰ and collagen-Ⅲ in skeletal muscle of chronic soft tissue injury（CSTI） rats.Methods Fifty-four male SD rats w ere randomized into natural ly healing group

Yunnan Baiyao group and Qingbai Powder group with 18 in eac h.The CSTI models were established.The naturally healing group

Yunnan Baiyao group and Qingbai Powder group were given 10ml/kg of normal saline

0.18g/kg of Yunnan Baiyao and 0.54g/kg of Qingbai Powder respectively through gastric feeding once daily for 14 days.At the first

second and third weekend after the administration

the expression of Collagen-Ⅰ and collagen-Ⅲ in skeleta l muscle of CSTI rats was detected by immunohistochemistry method

and the contents of tumor necrosis factor-α（TNF-α） and interleukin-6（IL-6） were detected by euzymelinked im muno sorbent assay.Results Comparing with the naturally hea ling group

the speed of muscle regeneration and healing quality in the Qingbai Powder group promoted significantly.In the Qingbai Powder group

the contents of TNF-α and IL-6 and the expression of collagen-Ⅰ and collagen-Ⅲ were significantly decre ased in comparing with those of the naturally healing group.Con clusion Qingbai Powder could inhibit the hyperplasy of collagen fibe rs

decrease the level of inflammatory factor and promote the reparation of inju ry issue.
