Objective To observe the effect of Yiguan Brew（Al l-the-Way-Through Brew） combined with western medication on diabetic gastropa resis with stomach y in deficiency syndrome.Methods Eighty diabetic gastrop are sis patients with stomach yin deficiency syndrome were randomized into treat ment group and control group

with 40 in each.Both groups were given repaglinid e and metformin hydrochloride tablets to control blood sugar.The treatment grou p was added with Yiguan Brew

one dose daily.The control group was added with M osapride dispersible tablets

10mg per time

3 times daily.One treatment course lasted for 2 weeks.Scores of clinical symptoms

gastric half emptying time（GE T1/2） and lag phase time（Tlag） were observed before and after treatment.Results After treatment

GET1/2 and Tlag improved significantly in both groups（P<0.05 or P<0.01）

especially in the treatment group（P<0.01）.The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 75.00% and 62.5 0% respectively.The treatment group was superior（P<0.05）.After treatment

there were significant differences in early satiety

epigastric fullness

loss of appetite

heartburn

nausea

vom iting and total symptom score in the treatment group as compared with before tre atment（P<0.01）.After treatment

there were significant differences in ear ly satiety

epiga stric fullness and total symptom score in the control group as compared with bef ore treatment（P<0.05）.After treatment

there were significant differences in epigastric full ness

heartburn

nausea

vomiting and loss of appetite between groups（P<0.01）.Two weeks after treatment

early satiety

epigastric fullness

loss of appe tite

tongue

pulse and total symptom score in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group（P<0.05 or P<0.01）.C onclusion Modified Yiguan Brew could obviously relieve symptoms and pro mote gastric emptying for diabetic gasroparesis with stomach yin deficiency synd rome.
