Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Feiwei Granules （granules for lung wilting） for pulmonary fibro-sis.Methods Totally 120cases of pulmonary fibrosis were randomized into the treatment group and control group

with 61 and 59in each.Both groups were given the fundamental treatment.The treatment group was given 100ml Feiwei Granules twice daily.The control group was given 30 mg prednisone once daily.The treatment lasted for 2months.The Chinese medi-cine syndrome efficacy and patient satisfaction was evaluated.The Chinese medicine syndrome score

with a significant difference between groups （P<0.01）.The patient satisfaction rate in the treatment group and control group was 91.4%and 33.3%respectively

TLC and FEV1were significantly improved in the treat-ment group after treatment （P<0.05or P<0.01）.The Chinese medicine syndrome score
