A Clinical Observation on Shengji Yuhong Paste for 127 Cases of Chronic Leg Ulcers
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect and mechanism of Shengji Yuhong Paste(Flesh-Engendering Jade and Red Paste)for chronic leg ulcers. Methods Totally 257cases of chronic leg ulcers were randomized into the treatment group and control group
with 127and 130in each.Shengji Yuhong Paste and Vaseline gauze was externally used in the treatment group and control group respectively. The treatment lasted for 4weeks.The growth condition of wound granulation was observed
wound pain was scored and safety was evaluated. Results Comparing with one day before treatment
the ulcer depth
granulation color and coverage area were significantly decreased in the treatment group on the 7th
14th
21st and 28th day after treatment(P<0.05).Comparing with one day before treatment
the ulcer depth
granulation color and coverage area were significantly decreased in the control group on the 21st and 28th day after treatment(P<0.05).Comparing with the control group
the ulcer depth
granulation color and coverage area were significantly decreased in the treatment group on the 21st and 28th day after treatment(P<0.05).The scores of wound pain were significantly decreased in both groups after treatment(P<0.01)
especially in the treatment group(P<0.01).Conclusion Shengji Yuhong Paste can relieve limb pain in chronic leg ulcers patients by improving microcirculation and promoting granulation growth of wound.
