Representation Theory and Data Validation of TCM Syndrome Topology
Traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) syndrome has dynamic evolution and mathematical connotation of topology. Its constituent elements
occurrence and topologies were proved by taking spleen-qi deficiency syndrome and spleen-yang deficiency syndrome as an example. The result showed that the constituent elements of spleen-qi deficiency syndrome and spleen-yang deficiency syndrome were not consistent with the clinical data
the constituent elements were missing
TCM syndrome occurrence coincided with topologies
and clinical data coincided with theoretical research results. The corrected formula of syndrome topology was F( syndrome) = YyV( Yy + Yx) V( Yy + Xy)V( Yy + Yx + Xy) V( Yy + Xy + Xx) V( Yy + Yx + Xx) V( Yy + Yx + Xy + Xx). The method can guide the research of TCM syndrome biological structure
make syndrome ’mathematical structure→physical structure→biological structures’ research routes more clear
and provide a new concept for modern language description of TCM theories.
