Theoretical Discussion on the Pathogenesis of Qi-Fall Blood-Stasis in Cardiovascular Diseases
Inspired by the theory of great qi fall in ZHANG Xichun’s Yixue Zhongzhong Canxilu
the common pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases was proposed according to the clinical features of cardiovascular diseases and qi-blood theory and upbearing-downbearing theory in traditional Chinese medicine( TCM). The common pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases is qi-fall blood-stasis. The theoretical foundation and modern medical evidence of qi-fall blood-stasis was discussed as well. Qi-fall blood-stasis is the common pathological basis in cardiovascular disease. The common TCM syndrome in cardiovascular diseases is qi-fall blood-stasis syndrome as well. The fall-raising and stasis-dispelling therapy should be used in cardiovascular diseases with qi-fall blood-stasis syndrome.
