Characteristic Analysis of Biological Samples from 2 445 Patients with Infectious Diseases
region and season in patients with infectious diseases and the effects on immune toxicology. Methods A prospective
multi-center
large sample and registered study was conducted. A total of 2 445 patients injected with Xiyanping Injection
Tanreqing Injection and Reduning Injection were collected. A basic information table of Xiyanping Injection
Tanreqing Injection and Reduning Injection was formulated. The patient information such as gender
age
geographic region and onset season was included in the table. The blood samples from patients were collected to detect the levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate( CAMP)
males accounted for 63. 1%. Most patients are children under 18 years old and from the northern region. The diseases commonly appeared in the spring. The levels of IL-1β
CAMP
MIP-1β
PGE2 and TNF-α in female patients were higher than those in male patients( P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01). The levels of the indicators in pediatric patients were higher than those in other age( P < 0. 01). The levels of IL-1β
IL-4
IL-6
IL-8
CAMP and TNF-α in patients from the northern region were higher than those in patients from the southern region( P < 0. 01). The levels of IL-1β
IL-8
CAMP
PGE2 and TNF-α in patients who caught the diseases in summer were higher than those in patients who suffered the diseases in other seasons( P < 0. 01). Conclusion The indicators of immune toxicology in patients with infectious diseases vary in age
gender
geographic region and onset season. It may become the confounding factors influencing the clinical diagnosis and treatment decisions.
