Humanistic Spirit in the Pre-Qin Culture and Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon’s(黄帝内经)
Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon( 黄帝内经) was profoundly influenced by it
but had its unique perspective. In the theory of human nature
it was mainly affected by Dong Zhongshu’ s opinion of ‘doctrine of human nature dominated by Qi’in the early years of the Western Han Dynasty; in the aspect of humanistic spirit
it held consistence with Confucianism’ s idea of direct care and love of people; in terms of the realm of life
the common realm was immersed with the Taoism thought of ‘nature and inaction’
whereas the state of‘best doctors treat nation’shared great resemblance with ‘being an inner sage so as to rule the outer world’from Confucianism and ‘rule self and rule nation’of Huang Lao Taoism.
