WU Weiping. Discussion on Treating Lung Cancer from Liver[J]. Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014, 55(24): 2091-2093.DOI: 10.13288/j.11-2166/r.2014.24.007.
The pathogenesis of lung cancer could be concluded as deficiency
qi
phlegm
blood stasis and toxin. The pathologic location is the lung while it is related to five viscera
especially the liver. Unsmooth qi movement of liver and lung is the key in pathogenesis of lung cancer. Hence we suggest four therapeutic methods which were dispelling
tonifying
dredging and regulating. The treatment of lung cancer should emphasize on liver by paying great attention to eliminating phlegm and dispelling stagnation. Dealing with qi disharmony is a priority because regulating qi depends on lung and liver. Palliative treatment and holistic health preservation cannot be successful without regulating lung and liver
which are the keys for dispelling
tonifying
dredging and regulating qi
blood and phlegm. This article demonstrates the application of regulating liver and lung in the treatment of lung cancer.
