Discussion on Detoxicity Effect of Leigongteng in “Diversity Restriction”Compatibility
Leigongteng( Tripterygium wilfordii) is well recognized by Chinese and western medical societies for the effectiveness in the treatment of autoimmune diseases. However
acute or chronic multi-organ intoxication causes a constraint on its clinical application. This study performed a systematic combing through clinical and experimental studies on Leigongteng( Tripterygium wilfordii) ’s detoxicity effect in compatibility
and proposed "Diversity Restriction" hypothesis including three aspects i. e. restricted by opposite properties and tastes
restricted by different efficacy and restricted by strengthening the body resistance.
