Problems and Prospect of the Development of TCM Diagnosis
This paper points out that the problems faced with the development of diagnostics of traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) is mainly the standardization and objectification of the diagnosis and syndrome differentiation
which comes down to the overemphasis on the standardization while neglecting traditional Chinese thinking mode considering the status quo of development situation for TCM diagnostics. With the development of science and technology and multi-disciplinary integration
multi-specialty communication and cooperation should be promoted
both to retain the thinking mode of TCM and to promote its modernization.
