This paper aims to explore the application of "constitution-disease-pattern differentiation"mode in treating allergic diseases with acupuncture and moxibustion. It puts forward that based on the disease-pattern differentiation

to support the healthy-qi together with clearing the latent evil should be adopted to regulate the constitution

acupoints Back-Shu

acupoints Yuan（ source）

and acupoints along Ren-Du channels can be selected to apply moxibustion on; to clear latent evil

acupoints with function of clear heat

and pricking blood therapy and cupping therapy can be adopted. In clinical practice

to treat allergic diseases with acupuncture and moxibustion

in the prevention and treatment mitigation period

constitution differentiation should be focused

with first priority being given to root cause treating and second to disease or pattern differentiation; in the attack stage

disease and pattern differentiation should be given first priority with constitution differentiation using as a supplement. This is how "constitution-diseasepattern differentiation"is to be used according to different situation.
