Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Jiawei Danshen Yin（ JWDSY） in the treatment of angina pectoris with heart blood stasis syndrome. Methods Totally 128 cases were randomly divided into treatment group of 68 cases and control group of 60 cases. The control group was treated with aspirin enteric-coated tablets

0. 1 g daily; isosorbide mononitrate tablets

10 mg each time

3 times a day; perindopril tablets

4 mg daily; metoprolol succinate extended release tablets

47. 5 mg daily; atorvastatin calcium tablets

10 mg daily. On the basis of that

the treatment group was added with JWDSY

decocted by water

one dose daily. After 15 days of treatment

the clinical efficacy

electrocardiogram（ ECG） efficacy and adverse reactions were observed. Results The clinical total effective rate of the treatment group was 90. 8%

better than the 62. 1% of the control group（ P < 0. 01）. The ECG effective rate of the treatment group（ 82. 5%） was significantly superior to that of the control group（ 69. 2%

P <0. 05）. Conclusion JWDSY combined with western medicine had better effects than western medicine alone in the treatment of angina pectoris with heart blood stasis syndrome

with no obvious adverse reactions.
