Application of Markov Model in Clinical Research of Chinese Medicine for Prevention and Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease( COPD) has long disease course
and is characterized by repetition
multi-state and multi-stage. Owing to the limit observation duration in past clinical trials
it is urgent to carry out continuous effectiveness evaluation on COPD at different stages and different time quantum. This paper expounds the application of Markov mode in the research of COPD
analyzes the necessity
potential advantages and disadvantages of applying this mode into treating COPD with Chinese medicine. Based on preliminary study
this research puts Markov mode into clinical study of prevention and cure of COPD with Chinese medicine
and lays a certain foundation for economic evaluation of TCM clinical study.
