Differences,Optimization and Recombination of Cultural Genes of Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine
Medicine cultural genes include thinking genes and value genes. Differences of cultural genes between Traditional Chinese Medicine( TCM) and Western Medicine( WM) are mainly in four aspects: TCM follows observation and manifestation
while WM asserts entity and principles; TCM emphasizes temporal characteristics of life
WM pays more attention to spatial characteristics of the body; TCM mostly adopts imagery thinking
WM lays stress on abstract thinking; TCM pursues highest good
WM focuses on seeking truth. Effective inheritance of cultural genes is a prerequisite for optimization and recombination
and equal exchanges between the two cultures are preconditions.Achieving optimization and combination differences of TCM and WM in the above four aspects is the goal at present.
