Therapeutic Strategy of Chinese Medicine for Gynecological Tumors
Treatment principles of gynecological benign and malignant tumors are different. According to the age
fertility requirements
symptoms
lesion range
previous treatment and wishes of patients
benign tumors are treated with individualized therapies such as surgery
drug therapy
intervention therapy
etc.; while treating malignant tumors is mainly by surgery
along with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Therefore
treatment strategy of Chinese medicine for gynecological tumors is always strengthening body resistance and eliminating pathological factors. Treating benign tumors is based on stages of surgery
menstruation and age or characteristics of the tumor. But for cancers
attentions have to be paid on prevention in high-risk population
surgery combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy
perioperative treatment and maintenance therapy after surgery or radiotherapy. At the same time
the significance of mental health
diet adjustment and exercise regimen has to be emphasized in treatment of gynecologic tumors.
