Application of Yin-Yang, Bones and Muscles Theory in Treating Hallux Valgus Adopting Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Minimally Invasive Technique
Hallux valgus is hallux malformation owing to many causes. At present
surgical treatment in modern medicine mainly adopts traditional large incision operation
which is complex and brings a lot of damage to tissues
needs internal fixation or plaster external fixation
and recovers slowly. Minimally invasive operation in integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine for hallux valgus draws advantages of Western Medicine from each school operations and follows Chinese Medicine theories as"balance of Yin and Yang"
"dislocation of bones and muscles"
"equal attention of bones and muscles"
and "bandage theory". Take Yin Yang theory in studying hallux valgus etiologically and pathologically as dominance
apply Yin-Yang
bones and muscles theory completely in minimally invasive therapy system including manipulative reduction based on cutting bones during operation and postoperative rehabilitation. Minimally invasive operation has been proved with modern scientific methods and in clinical practice.
