Modern Literatures Research about Diagnostic Criteria of Damp Heat in the Spleen and the Stomach Syndrome
Objective To analyze the current circumstances and law of diagnostic criteria of damp heat in the spleen and the stomach syndrome including diagnostic mode
content and judgment form in the modern literature. Methods China National Knowledge Infrastructure( CNKI)
Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform
and VIP information( VIP) database were systematically retrieved to find all relevant clinical research literature collected in since the database was established to May 2014. Information including diagnostic criteria
published year of literatures
diagnostic content and judgment form of damp heat in the spleen and the stomach syndrome was extracted to form work table
and reference frequency of literature on damp heat in the spleen and the stomach syndrome and occurrence frequency of name of disease
as well as primary and secondary symptom were analyzed. Results A total of 134 papers with 20 standards were selected and the used frequency of the standards was 166 times. The top five frequent used reference of diagnostic criteria were "the Chinese Medicine Clinical Research of New Medicine Guiding Principles"
"Drafted Protocol of Diagnosis and Treatment of Combining Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine of Chronic Gastritis"
standard by Fujian Research Society of TCM Theory of Spleen and Stomach
standard by Institute of Spleen and Stomach of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine
and "Criterion of Diagnosis
Syndrome Differentiation and Therapeutic Effect on Chronic Gastritis for Integrative Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine( trial project) "respectively. Diagnosis of "disease "in damp heat in the spleen and the stomach syndrome was mostly gastritis in the digestive system of western medicine. The most frequent occurrence of primary symptom of damp heat in the spleen and the stomach syndrome was burning heat sensation
pain or full and stuffy of stomach and abdomen and red tongue with yellow or thick greasing coating. And secondary symptom occurred repeatedly were dry and bitter mouth
bad breath
sticky mouth
thirst( but not want to drink or drink less)
choking sensation in chest
poor appetite
somatic heaviness and sleepy
nausea and vomit
defecate difficultly and / or sticky or loose stool
scanty dark urine
slippery and rapid pulse or soft( slow
rapid) pulse. The judgment form of damp heat in the spleen and the stomach syndrome was mostly "primary symptom plus secondary symptom". Conclusion "Disease combined with symptom"is mostly used diagnosis mode in diagnostic criteria of damp heat in the spleen and the stomach syndrome. The main symptoms
secondary symptoms and diagnosis judgment form were various in diagnostic standard of damp heat in the spleen and the stomach syndrome in the different diseases.
