R Value Comprehensive Evaluation of Three Methods of Regulating and Invigorating Lung and Kidney to Control Inflammation in Rats with Stable Phase of Coronary Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective To comprehensively evaluate three methods of regulating and invigorating lung and kidney[Bufei Jianpi Fang( 补肺健脾方) for invigorating lung and spleen
Yiqi Zishen Fang( 益气滋肾方) for invigorating lung and kidney
Yiqi Zishen Fang( 益气滋肾方) for tonifying qi and kidney] in regulating systemic and pulmonary local inflammation in rats with stable phase of coronary obstructive pulmonary disease( COPD) by using multiple indexes of R value comprehensive evaluation. Methods Totally 120 rats were randomly and equally assigned into control
model
invigorating lung and spleen
invigorating lung and kidney
tonifying qi and kidney and aminophylline groups. Cigarette smoking and bacterial infection were combined to establish models of COPD stable phase in each group except control group. Control and model groups were received gavage of 2 ml saline twice a day since ninth weeks until twentieth weeks; while the rest groups received Bufei Jianpi Fang [4. 84 g /( kg · d) ]
Bufei Yishen Fang [4. 44 g /( kg · d) ]
Yiqi Zishen Fang [4. 84 g /( kg · d) ] and aminophylline [2. 3 mg /( kg · d) ]
respectively. Systemic index and pulmonary local inflammation indexes( bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and lung tissue)were detected in the twentieth and thirty-second weeks. Multiple indexes of R value comprehensive evaluation were used to evaluate the above indexes. Results Methods of regulating and invigorating lung and kidney had apparent improving effect( P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01) in the twentieth and comprehensive 20 and 32 weeks. Bufei Yishen Fang had significant improving intensity( P < 0. 01) and were greater than aminophylline( P < 0. 05) in the thirty-second week. In comprehensive 20 and 32 weeks
Bufei Jianpi Fang had greatest improving intensity
followed by Bufei Yishen Fang
Yiqi Zishen Fang and aminophylline. In the twentieth week and comprehensive 20 and 32 weeks
the three methods of regulating and invigorating lung and kidney had significant improving effect on indexes of pulmonary local inflammation( P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01). Conclusion All of the three methods of regulating and invigorating lung and kidney and aminophylline can comprehensively regulate the expression of inflammatory indexes in COPD.Among them
Bufei Jianpi Fang seems to have obvious advantage in regulating systemic and local inflammation
while Bufei Yishen Fang had long-termed effect in regulating systemic inflammation.
