Objective To explore the evolvement rule of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome and summarize the use characteristics of prescription in the ancient consilias. Methods The researchers collected the medical records about Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome in the ancient literatures to build database of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. Then they used the MS Office to count the use frequencies of disease

syndrome

prescription and galenical to analyze combination characteristics and application rules. The researchers also used SPSS 19. 0clustering analysis method

with Buyang Huanwu Tang（ 补阳还五汤） as mapping conditions

to tentatively research function development nature of prescription in consilia. Results Occurrence frequencies of disease categories related to Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome

from high to low in turn

are stroke（ 12）

flaccidity disease（ 8） and abdominal pain（ 6）. Frequency of accompanied Symptoms are Yin deficiency（ 15） and blood deficiency（ 10）. Use frequencies of prescription are Sijunzi Decoction（ 四君子汤）（ 21）

Liujunzi decoction（ 六君子汤）（ 19）

Buzhong Yiqi Decoction（ 补中益气汤） and Yigong san（ 异功散）（ 15）. Use frequencies of galenical are Renshen（ ginseng）（ 82）

Fuling（ poria cocos）（ 80）

Baizhu（ white atractylodes rhizome）（ 78）

Danggui（ angelica）（ 75）. The whole coincidence rate of mapping to Buyang Huanwu Tang is 25. 27%. Conclusion Besides stroke

Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome also had a higher incidence in flaccidity disease and pain disease. The treatment should be given priority to tonifying Qi

nourishing Yin

enriching blood and invigorating the circulation of blood. Buyang Huanwu Tang is the basic prescription of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome and has been gotten the inheritance and development by the later generations.
